Had forgotten about my blog for a second there.
I would be lying if I said I was busy, I was caught up with life lol. So much has happened since I last wrote something here, where to start. My birthday came n went (something to remember and yet things I am still trying to figure out because I was that wasted ..lol not a good look),went out loads, went to weddings ( am becoming more of a wedding crasher myself) didn't know half of the people who were getting married..lol.. Went to Zimbabwe ..damn so much has happened for real..lol

I didn't know what to do to my hair when I wanted to go out with my girls, so I just decided to put bobby pins n try a lil Mohawk...liked the results

Getting bored of my hair at the moment so I did some genie locs again!!!!

Season time!!!

It's that time of the year where I get presents from loved ones and groupies as well..
I have a very long list that I want Santa to fulfil..
1) need shoes (about 3 at least..)
2) my holiday ticket bought (really need this one)
3) a boyfriend (a cute one)

Now, if someone go to the gym for me.. I need a perfect body for summer next year..lol..

Genie locs done

My first attempt and I nailed it so as I think....am actually really proud with them...

They are easy to do and not mention not expensive as well. This gon be my new protective hairdo until I discover something interesting along the way.
Really perfect for this weather as well, am going to be rocking this look throughout with winter.

Genie locs???

I don't know how to do these genie locs but am gonna give them go. I have been hesitating to do my own hair these past few weeks but am now bored of my hair and not to mention I don't know what to do with my kinky hair at the moment...lol

So I will try to buy the yarn after work tomorrow and then give it a go when I get home, will post the results that's if I manage to finish..lol.
YouTube is going to be source...bring it on...am ready for this...ermmm not..lol

New movie role

So the rumour has it that Chris Brown is gonna be in a movie alongside Meagan Good and Sherri Shepherd. It's set to be realised in 2012 after Chris album which will be titled FORTUNE

Basically the movie is about this new hotspot NBA player (supposedly being Chris) whom the press just find out that he is the illegitimate son of a former NBA star. So the player attempts to make a life with his newly found father and step brother.

The movie will be titled Phenom and Meagon is gonna be his love interest...

As a big fan I cant wait for his movie and album. I bet his album is gonna be really gd.."strip" and "biggest fan" are gon be one the song track titles of his upcoming album..

New album: Melanie Fiona

So Melanie is dropping her new album on the 6th of dec..now am a big fan of her music n fashion style (well some of it). The album title is called THE M F LIFE....am so excited and can't wait

As her and John legend are goods friends it's no surprise that they have teamed up again for her upcoming album. No lie, I first thought she was gonna have a one hit wonder song but she has definitely proven me wrong.






She recently sat down with Jae Ink for a Q&A for Ammo Magazine. She talks Touring with Alicia Keys and Kanye West, acting and what we can expect from The MF Life.
JI: You have a new album coming titled ‘The MF Life’; in an interview you stated the album as being “stadium soul.” Explain what that means. What can fans expect from this album?

MF: I fell in love with the sound of my music being played in big arenas when I went on tour with Kanye West & Alicia Keys. I became addicted to that feeling, so I just wanted my music loud and I wanted these songs to be big & I wanted them to be full and feel like they could fill an arena. I’m a big fan of live instrumentation so it was pretty much taking it to another level off the first album and just making this album something big.

JI: Who are some of the collaborators on the new album?
MF: I haven’t finished what will be on the album yet, but I’ve been in the studio working with Andrew Martin, Los, Jerry Wonder, Salon Remy, Jack Flash, and Chuck Harmony. Its been really good I’ve been getting all my creative juices & getting all my ideas of what I want this album to be about. I’m trying new things & I’m also writing with John Legend.

JI: Your first single “Gone and Never Coming Back”, you sing about love lost in a relationship, did this song come from personal experience?
MF: Everything I write about, sing about or perform about is always about life. A lot of the things I go through its always what we all go through and I feel like “Gone and Never Coming Back” absolutely comes from personal experience. I’ve had to end chapters in my life, cut people out of my life, say goodbye to people I necessarily wasn’t ready to say goodbye to, had people say goodbye to me and I wasn’t ready to let it go. I feel that is just the real concept of lost & what it means. So I just wanted to put that into a song and make it very emotional something that people can relate to and help them get through whatever it is their going through.
